Betsy Gets Published!
In the fall of 2003, Betsy submitted some of her current artwork to the Cypress Dome, a student-produced literary journal that publishes creative writing and visual art by UCF students. This spring she received notification that one of her images had been selected. When the publication finally arrived, Betsy came running into the office, much like Steve Martin in The Jerk, screaming "The Cypress Dome is here! The Cypress Dome is here!"

Relay For Life Camp Site 2004
Once again, CDWS participated in the annual Relay For Life charity event. This year's theme was "Once Upon A Time." Playing on the work "time," we created a site with a time travel theme, exhibiting the history of cancer research. Once again, our efforts were awarded with the First Place trophy! Two-pete!

It All Addys Up!
In February of 2004, Sarah and Jamie were 2 out of 4 students that won Addys from UCF. They were both honored with Silver Addys in the logotype category. Sarah for her Prop Wash logo and Jamie for her Whole Hog Cafe logo.

Jaclyn Wins Big!
Our own Jaclyn Paul has been quite the decorated artist! She was recently honored with a Student Gold Addy Award for her Dogbyte Design logotype.
Jaclyn was also the recipient of 2 Knight Images Awards for logo design and for brochure design.
We're pretty sure she also won an Oscar or Grammy or something, but she won't bring those in!

Relay For Life Camp Site 2003
Every year, CDWS participates in the Relay For Life event, benefiting cancer. In 2003, Digital Media, along with the CDWS's Relay For Life team, decorated our camp site with a 50's theme. We designed and built a drive-in movie set with cars. Our efforts were awarded with the First Place trophy!
